I’m a Bulgarian native, living (most of the time) in the Netherlands and working as a freelance Italian teacher. Basically, I can work from anywhere, so I spend as much time as I can traveling!

I have been in love with the Italian language for the last 13 years (and I am only 25 years old, so that's long!). It all started a long time ago (to be precise 14 years ago), when I went to Rome for the first time and fell in love with the città eterna. Long story short, when I graduated from high school I ended up in Rome applying for universities with 2 large suitcases and pretty much no idea of how things worked over there.

After 3 wonderful years of living with Italians (enjoying la dolce vita in Rome) and studying in Italian (my whole degree was taught in Italian) I can honestly say that I am as good as a native speaker. Quite often people don't even realize that I am not Italian...

In 2016 I graduated from Leiden University, I obtained a Master's Degree in Italian Language and Linguistics where I specialized in teaching Italian.

I love coffee, I am pretty sure I have an addiction.

I like to cook, I love reading (I always carry a book with me). Walking around and yoga fit into my daily life as well.

I hope this blog inspires you to discover Italy, its language and culture! Feel free to email me and follow me on social media!

Un abbraccio!
